The Legendary DJ Mister Cee Has Passed Away At 57

DJ Mister Cee passed away yesterday at the age of 57.

He got his start DJ'ing for Big Daddy Kane back in the day and was credited with discovering a young Notorious B.I.G in the early 90's. As a matter of fact, his "Best of Biggie Smalls" mixtape is considered to be one of the best ever done. He's also credited as an associate producer on Biggie's "Ready To Die".

DJ Mister Cee aka "The Finisher" was still very active in the hip hop community working at "Rock The Bells" radio on Sirius XM as well as being involved with the legendary NYC radio station HOT 97.

The loss of this icon leaves a massive hole in the hearts of hip hop fans everywhere.

A cause of death has not yet been given.
