Betty White has been on television longer than I’ve been alive, and she’s finally getting recognized for it! The comedic actresses’ 74 years of work has earned her a spot in the Guinness Book Of World Records for “Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female).” When asked how she felt about being in the record book, White said:
"I was astounded when they called to tell me. 'Who? Me!?!' It's such an honor."
Betty White’s career began back in 1939, and she’s appeared in some of television’s most popular shows, including "The Golden Girls," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," and "The Carol Burnett Show." More recently Betty White has been in a number of commercials, and the 91-year-old currently stars in "Hot in Cleveland." Congrats Ms. White! You deserve it! Source: Guinness Book Of World Records
