Talk about your bouncing baby boys - and girls. The airborne infant in the YouTube video below was hurled from atop a 50-foot Muslim shrine in a region of India where parents believe tossing their babies brings them good health.

 

The kiddies plunge into a  bedsheet held taut by men on the ground, bounce around, then are quickly passed through the cheering crowd to their moms.
 

Muslims and Hindus who live in the village of Musti in southwestern India insist no babies have been injured during the 500 years the ritual has been practiced.

Critics say something bad is bound to happen and want the ritual banned.

 DJ Iroc came home and told the boys about the "Stilletto Run" in Amsterdam, and they said "whats the big deal?"  They think because women wear heels every day, it can't be that hard. Intern Sarah dared them to race in heels themselves! Well, let's see how well they did

Consider the guest list: Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny Child mates Rowland and Williams, and Jay-Z's friends Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin.  They all arrived amid heavy wedding buzz that began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday. "It's [happening] tonight," says a source. "A lot of their friends are booking hotel rooms." DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin – and the gig was no bar mitzvah. "Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for the Jay Z and Beyoncé wedding party to happen," says a source.  Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers.

 

An Oregon man who used to be a woman says he is pregnant with a baby girl.

Thomas Beatie's first-person story appears in the April issue of The Advocate, a Los Angeles-based newsmagazine for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgendered people.

According to the story, Mr. Beatie was born a woman but decided to become a transgender male and legally changed his sex to male. He had his breasts surgically removed and started bimonthly testosterone injections, but kept his girl parts.

They are irrevocably linked as two of the hottest singers on the planet, but Chris Brown and Rihanna aren't linked romantically, the pair insisted to MTV News at the Kids Choice Awards on Saturday, denying persistent reports that they are a couple. "I won't say that we're just friends — me and Chris are really best, best friends," Rihanna corrected, smiling. "We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry ... I trust and hang out with all the time. We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that."

Intern Sarah has been having a skin problem... she can't stop itching!! Changing soaps, doing laundry and an assortment of creams and potions has been no help. Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s political career teetered on the brink of collapse Monday after the corruption-fighting politician once known as “Mr. Clean” was accused of paying for sex with a high-priced call girl.

The scandal drew immediate calls for the Democrat to step down. At a news conference before about 100 reporters, a glassy-eyed Spitzer, his wife at his side, apologized to his family and the people of New York.

The call girl at the center of the prostitution scandal that prompted Gov. Eliot Spitzer to resign in disgrace has been identified as a 22-year-old aspiring musician who struggled in a broken home as a child.
The New York Times reported that the real name of the woman - identified as "Kristen" in court papers alleging that Spitzer paid thousands of dollars for her services - is Ashley Alexandra Dupre.
Don D. Buchwald, a New York lawyer, confirmed to The Associated Press that he represents Dupre, but he wouldn't comment further.
Law enforcement officials have said Spitzer had a Feb. 13 tryst with Kristen and paid her $4,300, according to court papers. Spitzer said Wednesday that he's resigning.
Dupre briefly spoke to the Times about the Spitzer scandal but didn't offer details on her involvement in it.
"I just don't want to be thought of as a monster," Dupre told the Times. "This has been a very difficult time. It's complicated."

The Game began his 60-day jail sentence on Sunday night at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, a label representative for the rapper confirmed Monday (March 3). The rapper (born Jayceon Taylor) pleaded no contest last month to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.

The sentence stems from an altercation Game allegedly got into last February during a pick-up basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South L.A., with prosecutors alleging that Taylor punched an opposing player and then pulled a gun from his car and threatened to shoot the man. He was arrested on the charge in May of 2007 and, following the plea deal cut last month, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, 150 hours of community service and three years' probation. ...

DRU HILL MAKEUP AND BREAK-UP

Heather Locklear's rep issued the following statement to TMZ about this weekend's 911 call at her home:

"[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance."

As TMZ first reported, paramedics responded to a 911 call made Saturday night by someone who feared Heather would try and kill herself. They arrived at her home to find no problem and left 10 minutes later.

Reports surfaced over the weekend that Courtney Love went to the LAPD to report she's the victim of a massive identity theft. But sources tell TMZ Courtney is simply (and possibly medically) delusional.

According to The Sun, Courtney claimed the identity thieves got 188 credit cards in her name, stole checks and bought cars. We've confirmed Love did make the trek to the Van Nuys division of the LAPD to make a report last week, but sources tell us they are not taking it seriously, one source adding, "it never happened."

We're told mentally, Courtney has been on the rocks. We found out she's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder -- this could explain Courtney's latest blogs which are impossible to decipher.

Bottom line -- we're told law enforcement thinks the identity fraud is in Courtney's mind.

Rapper Juvenile is "shocked and devastated" by the shooting deaths of his 4-year-old daughter, the girl's mother and another child, his manager, Aubrey Francis, told The Associated Press on Saturday.

The bodies of Juvenile's daughter Jelani; her mother, Joy Deleston, 39; and Deleston's daughter Micaiah, 11, were found Thursday night in their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which is near Atlanta. Deleston's 17-year-old son, Anthony Tyrone Terrell, was arrested by Gwinnett County police on Friday and later charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. Terrell waived his first court hearing, where he would have been formally notified of the charges against him, on Friday, a Gwinnett County Magistrate Court clerk told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ...

When Ne-Yo gets going, it's the sky—and apparently not the speed—that's the limit.  

The 28-year-old hip-hop star was arrested early Tuesday in Atlanta after Cobb County police clocked his Range Rover going more than 100 mph. 

Police spokeswoman Cassie Reece said Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, was booked on charges of reckless driving and driving without a license and released later that day on a $1,300 bond. 

He's due in court Mar. 25 to answer to the charges.

The latest from MTV: Everything goes in cycles. Just a few years ago, in the "Gangstas don't dance, they boogie" era, some fans would look funny at rappers if they got up onstage or in their videos and tried any leg movement more elaborate than a two-step. Well, after a 180-degree turn, having a dance to go along with your ringtone single is almost as common as having a mic in your hand to move the crowd.

There were at least a couple of dozen dances this year that made us lose our breath and get a serious workout on the dance floor.
