Pet Of The Week

Name: Sally
ID#: A#45320
Age: 6 years
Sex: Spayed Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair – Calico Tiger
Date into shelter: 8/12/10
Reason for surrender: Too Many Cats

Sally is a former neighborhood stray – she really didn’t belong to anyone, but some folks made sure she always had food and a warm place to sleep.  Finally it was time though, and Sally made her way to the APF to find a real home of her own.  This sweet tiger wants nothing more than your affection, and she will rub her little head on your hand to encourage more petting.

The 18th Annual Fireplug Walk for Animals is just around the corner! Join us in Schenectady’s beautiful Central Park on September 11th for a day of fun and fundraising for the APF. Smooch a Pooch, try your luck at the Canine Carnival, learn about area businesses and rescue groups, and much more!  There’s still time to register as an individual or virtual walker, or join a team to win amazing prizes like a flat screen TV. Visit www.animalprotective.org for the details.
