Lizzo ditched her meditative message for a political one on Monday (June 1) to urge Joe Biden to do more to “earn” the black vote. The “Truth Hurts” singer took to her TikTok page to sing a song about the black vote. Lizzo is seen with her hand extended as she signifies that she’s holding the black vote in her hand while singing, “You gonna have to do more than just get it, you gonna have to go out and earn it.” Lizzo captioned the post with Joe Biden’s Instagram handle. It’s not the first time Lizzo has used her social media for a political chat, the singer urged fans to look over the age of Bernie Sanders and hear what he had to say and reminded fans that the current sitting president is 73.
