After Puerto Rico opened for tourism, the territory rolled back those plans.
Puerto Rico reopened on July 15th but a spike in COVID-19 cases directly correlated with visitors from the U.S. mainland.
Governor Wanda Vazquez has closed bars, marinas, gyms, casinos, and theaters until at least July 31st. Alcohol sales will stop at 7:00 pm and beaches are restricted to exercise only.
Visitors had been very non-compliant about wearing masks and social distancing. The official reopening plan has been pushed back to August 15th.
