Jennifer Lopez has released a trailer for a new documentary short film that is very close to her heart because it’s about her own family.
Dance With Me is centered around her “nibling,” which is a non-binary term that replaces “niece” and “nephew,” who came out as transgender.
Brendon Scholl, was an eighth-grader when he came out to his mother and the family had a tough time with acceptance.
In the end, Brendon shows gratitude for Lopez and expresses how “lucky he is” to have a relative like J. Lo who supports in private with using the right pronouns to the very public showing with the production of the film to help others struggling.
