After Nick Cannon’s anti-Semitic comments early this year, the host was fired by CBSViacom. That included Cannon’s popular Wild’N Out show.
A CBSViacom executive says that he has spoken with Cannon and there’s room for a resolution.
President of Entertainment and Youth Brands Chris McCarthy said he has communicated with Cannon over the last few weeks. Cannon has been learning lessons about the Jewish community since his podcast statements.
McCarthy said on a town hall meeting, “I struggle with the fact that Nick, a longtime partner and friend of ours, is on this journey and we’re not part of that journey. I am hopeful we find a way to bring these two things together and hopefully we will have the opportunity to do that with Nick again.”
