Possible Second Case Of Mutated Coronavirus In Colorado

Health officials in Colorado are investigating what they believe is a second case of the new coronavirus mutation in the state.

The case is not yet confirmed but “highly suspicious”.  Just like the first, it involves a National Guard member who was deployed to a nursing home in Simla, CO.

The mutation, which is believed to be more contagious, was first identified in the UK earlier this month and has also shown up in a COVID-19 patient in California.  Experts believe the coronavirus vaccines will work on this new version as well.
