Trump Planning Over 100 Pardons Before Leaving Office

President Trump is reportedly planning another round of pardons before leaving office – a lot of them.

According to reports, the President plans to issue around 100 pardons and commutations on Tuesday, his final full day in office.

Per CNN, the list includes “white collar criminals, high-profile rappers and others”.  Trump reportedly met with Ivanka and Jared Kushner on Sunday to go over the list.

It’s not unusual for a president to issue a large number of pardons as they leave office.  Bill Clinton issued over 140 pardons on his final day in office, while Barack Obama commuted prison sentences for 330 federal inmates, mostly drug offenders, on his final day.
