I love writing about things like this.. There’s a thing called “Free Food Fridge” and it’s absolutely amazing. The holidays just wrapped up and maybe you spent WAY too much or maybe you just don’t have the funds at the moment and that’s okay, life happens. So the “Free Food Fridge” is there for you to take whatever you need out of it. here’s how you can take advantage of this..
There are 11 fridges (like the one pictured above) in the capital region with the newest one located at Honest Weight Food Co-op (organic grocery store) located at 100 Watervliet Avenue in Albany, that you can use at your discretion. If you would like to donate to these fridges you can always Paypal ([email protected]), or via Venmo (freefoodfridgealbany). If you are interested in getting involved you can also contribute your time by preparing food for the fridges, or even by cleaning the co-op fridge, and helping out in their community gardens during the growing season.
This is amazing and we need to see more things like this in the Capital Region.
