Whenever I think about YMCA’s I ALWAYS think about how the courts would be MOBBED, The Pool was always LIT and every kid wanted to go after school, that was sometimes cooler than going to the Mall. I promise I’m not that old haha. Anyways, The new Albany YMCA located at 17 New Scotland Avenue, will be opening on March 1. According to the Captial District YMCA website, members of the Albany YMCA can enjoy access to all Capital District YMCA branches and its online platform, Y360. I love that they are also are hiring. A lot of kids in Highschool or Fresh out should apply, it’s a solid job.
After browsing their website I discovered the new Albany YMCA will offer a wellness center with a group exercise studio and a performance studio for small group classes. Showers and lockers are other amenities that will be included, and if that wasn’t enough they will offer group exercise classes, HIIT small group classes, and personal training will be offered if all of that wasn’t already enough.
