Dick’s Sporting Goods in Latham has been closed for renovations since February 2023. The store is set to reopen as a House of Sport, according to a spokesperson for Dick’s. Field & Stream, which is owned by the same company, is also closed, as it is located next to the Dick’s store in Latham Farms Plaza.
The House of Sport concept is a relatively new one for Dick’s Sporting Goods, with only three other locations currently open in the United States. These locations are in Rochester, New York, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Minnetonka, Minnesota. The House of Sport stores offer a wide range of sports equipment and gear, as well as interactive experiences and events for customers.
The decision to transform the Latham Dick’s store into a House of Sport is a reflection of the company’s commitment to providing customers with the best possible experience when it comes to sports equipment and gear. The House of Sport concept is designed to offer a one-stop-shop for everything related to sports, from equipment and gear to events and experiences.
