Looking for a fun way to spend a day outdoors with your kids? Head over to Peebles Island State Park on April 15 for Kids Day! From 9AM-Noon, this event promises a variety of activities that will engage kids of all ages.
Whether your child loves nature or is simply looking for a fun way to spend a day outside, Kids Day has something for everyone. The event will feature nature craft stations, guided walks, a scavenger hunt, and the opportunity to build a bluebird house. However, there is a limited number of bluebird houses available, with a limit of 1 per family, so be sure to arrive early if you’re interested in this activity.
The best part? Kids Day is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Just make sure that all children are accompanied by an adult, and come prepared for the weather. The event will take place rain or shine, so be sure to check the forecast and dress appropriately.
Please note that there will be no food or drinks available for purchase at the event, so it’s a good idea to bring your own snacks and drinks. With so much to see and do, Kids Day promises to be a fun and memorable day for the whole family.
