Hudson Crossing Park is hosting a special event for dogs this Easter weekend. On April 8th and 9th, the park, which is located adjacent to the Champlain Canal, will host a K9 Easter Egg Hunt that adventurous dogs won’t want to miss.

This unique event is an opportunity for dogs to have some fun searching for plastic eggs filled with canine-safe treats provided by the Lazy Dog Cookie company. The eggs will be hidden around the park, mainly in the play garden and sensory trail area alongside the Hudson River. Additionally, an “engrave a tag” station will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days at the pavilion.

Although the event is free to the public, the organizers encourage a $10 donation per dog. Donations can be made online to support the Hudson Crossing Park, which is located outside Schuylerville and hosts educational programming and community events throughout the year.

Hudson Crossing Park’s K9 Easter Egg Hunt is an excellent opportunity for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors and bond while also supporting a local park. Don’t miss the chance to participate in this exciting event and make some great memories with your furry friends.
