Cleaning day in the Spindle City is on the way!
Spring is a season of renewal, and what better way to usher in the fresh, vibrant newness of the season than by participating in the Cohoes Citywide Spring Clean Up Day at Lansing Park? Scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 8:00am-2:00pm, this event is an excellent opportunity to clean out your home and dispose of items you no longer need in a responsible and eco-friendly way.

To participate in the Clean Up Day, enter the park via James Street and bring proof of residency. The event accepts all household items, paint, metal, and electronics. However, hazardous waste items are not accepted, so please dispose of these items at designated facilities.
Clean-up is an essential component of the City’s Stormwater Management program. It is a preventative measure that keeps pollutants from entering the City’s Stormwater system and nearby streams and rivers. By participating in the Clean Up Day, you are taking an active role in preserving the environment and ensuring the health and safety of your community.
So, mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Lansing Park for the Cohoes Citywide Spring Clean Up Day. It’s an opportunity to make a positive impact, meet your neighbors, and usher in the spring season with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to the environment.
