Apparently Friday was the last day of business for Pinhead Susan’s in Schenectady. News 10 spoke to the building’s owner, Joey Faizy. He says there were issues with the current operators, speculating they did not have the means to continue operating the restaurant. He mentioned they were behind in rent by about five months.
While the restaurant is currently closed, Faizy said he is looking for someone to take it over quickly:
If I could lease it out to someone that could make a classy sports Irish pub, that would be ideal. And that’s what the city would want.
The building hosts the restaurant on the first floor, while the second floor could be turned into apartments.
Faizy is asking any interested restauranteurs to reach out. According to his Facebook post, it’s a turnkey operation that can be taken over or an opportunity to start something new.
