An Unforgettable Night: Cohoes’ Harmony Hill Vs. Albany Broadcasting All-Stars Showdown

Nothing like being home. I was able to call the highly anticipated basketball game that was set for Friday Night at Alumni Gym at Cohoes High (where I graduated in 2013) The Harmony Hill Ballers Vs The B95.5 All-Stars. As the sun set over the picturesque city of Cohoes, the stage was set for an unforgettable evening of basketball, camaraderie, and community spirit. On this magical night, the Harmony Hill School and B95.5 All-Stars went head-to-head, bringing together local heroes from the Cohoes Fire Department, Cohoes Police Department, and some of the Capital Region’s most beloved radio personalities.

The Cohoes High School gymnasium was packed with an electric crowd, a testament to the community’s enthusiasm for the event. From the get-go, it was evident that this was not just a basketball game, but rather an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the spirit of Cohoes. The B95.5 All-Stars, led by Chad O’Hara and Signal 30’s Tommy Durant, put up a valiant effort against the Harmony Hill team, which featured Cohoes Police officers. Cohoes Firefighters also contributed their skills on the court, ensuring a well-rounded and exciting game. Troy Synder was on fire with 5 threes.

Nothing more awesome than this happening, the 50/50 raffle winner donated their share back to the Harmony Hill 5th graders for their upcoming field trip, highlighting the close-knit bond within the Cohoes community.

Can’t wait to be back next year!
