Meet Erik Herrero, he built a bike that is 8.5 feet tall and rides it around his neighborhood in Clifton Park. He built it himself with donated bike frames and pieced it together as part of his final project at the Modern Welding School. So how exactly do you get on a bike that’s 8 feet high? Herrero tells News 10 that is always takes a running start.

As can be seen in the above video, a couple friends are on hand to keep the bike stable as Erik begins running along – eventually climbing up several feet to the seat all while keeping the bike steady.
Next question, how does he get off? The following video answers that.
@offsetmoto Replying to @zack_713 I need a decent amount of room to get it done but ive got it down after some practice #tallbike #bicycle #extremebicycle ♬ original sound – OffsetMoto
According to News 10, Erik’s next project is a tandem tricycle for him and his girlfriend.
