Mark your calendars, animal lovers! The much-anticipated Woofstock Music Festival and Walk-a-Thon is making a triumphant return to Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater in Schenectady on June 11. With the Walk-a-Thon kicking off the proceedings at 10:30 a.m., followed by the festival running from 12 to 5 p.m., it promises to be a day filled with joy, music, and community spirit.
Woofstock is not only about fun and games; it’s a cause with a heart. All proceeds from the event will support the Animal Protective Foundation’s noble mission of providing essential care for companion animals in need. Cassandra Metke, APF’s Director of Development, highlighted the importance of Woofstock and its mission, saying, “We’re thrilled to bring back Woofstock, coupled with a Walk-a-Thon, to boost funds for pets throughout the Capital Region.”
The family and dog-friendly festival will be brimming with live music, delectable food, pet-friendly shopping, and more. Adding to the festivity, NEWS10’s Steve Caporizzo and his wife Lisa will grace the occasion as the emcees.
