Going to see a movie can cost upwards of $20 depending on this cinema, but there’s a big discount being offered this Sunday (8/27). Theaters across the country and in the Albany area will celebrate National Cinema Day with $4 admission.

Participating cinemas in the Capital Region include:

Albany County:

  1. Landmark’s Spectrum 8 Theatre, Albany.
  2. Regal Colonie Center
  3. Regal Crossgates Mall
  4. The Madison Theatre

Fulton County:

  1. Johnstown Movieplex

Rensselaer County:

  1. Regal East Greenbush

Saratoga County:

  1. AMC Saratoga Springs
  2. Regal Clifton Park Center Mall

Schenectady County:

  1. BTM Cinemas Movieland 6
  2. Zurich Cinema Via Port Mall, Rotterdam.

Warren County:

  1. Regal Aviation Mall

If you can fit it all into your schedule, you could conceivably see five movies for $20… though going through the line a few times they might catch on. Still, quite a deal to take advantage of this weekend.

Here are some of the most popular movies in America according to Rotten Tomatoes
