Sunday Night Slow Jams

If you are a Slow Jam fan, you have probably heard of R Dub! He is the creator and host of Sunday Night Slow Jams and the weeknight Slow Jams with R Dub!, radio shows. Incredibly, R Dub! started the show when he was just 16 years old, in Tucson, Arizona. Today, his programs are heard on over 200 radio stations in 14 countries with a weekly audience of over 4 million.
R Dub! has written two best-selling books and his 2013 radio documentary has won numerous awards at multiple film festivals. In 2013 he was a guest on ABC’s Shark Tank, bringing along friend and Grammy nominee Brian McKnight. While the Sharks didn’t bite, a private investor bought in just days after the episode aired.
When he’s not in the studio, R Dub! is probably very far away from home: He’s almost completed his mission of visiting all 193 countries on the planet. As of this publication he’s been to 192. His travel includes a special focus on bringing clean water to African villages that don't have safe water sources. With help from listeners, R Dub!’s Slow Jams 4 Kids organization have brought water to three rural villages and counting. R Dub! is also a national leader: As the Sultan of The Republic of Slowjamastan, he is the dictator of his own country! Don’t believe us? Visit www.slowjamastan.org
