Police in Maine are currently engaged in a massive manhunt as they try to locate Robert Card. Card is the suspect in last nights mass shooting that took the lives of at least 22 people and wounded 30. The numbers are not fully confirmed as the situation is still "very fluid".

The shootings took place in two separate locations last night, a bowling alley and a restaurant. Card is believed to be a firearms instructor for the Army Reserve and is assigned to the training facility that's located in Saco, Maine.

The Lewiston Police Department posted this on their Facebook page last night.

CNN is reporting that the FBI, ATF and other Federal agencies have joined local and Maine State Police in the search/investigation.

Federal agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and others, have joined the search for a person of interest who police say is connected to the shootings in Lewiston, Maine, according to US law enforcement officials.

There is a press conference scheduled at 10:30 this am from Lewiston.

Card is considered "armed and dangerous" and residents in Lewiston and surrounding areas are urged to stay in their homes.

Also, according to CNN.com they have a description of the vehicle that Card was driving.

  • The car: Police also shared an image of the vehicle they're looking for — a small white SUV with a front bumper believed to be painted black — which Maine State Police confirmed is the suspect's car.
