It would appear that I'm going to have to plan a trip to Las Vegas in 2024 now that New Edition has announced their residency at Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theater! The group made the announcement earlier today on their Instagram.

Starting on February 28th the group will be doing 6 shows in total for this stint in Vegas. It also appears that we're going to be getting some new music from them as well, which hasn't happened since 2004. Ronnie DeVoe said that it could come before their residency kicks off early next year. 

 “I think it’ll be a great time to get in the studio and put our vocals on something new and fresh, so we can deliver that to our fans in anticipation of their residency.”

Tickets for their shows will go on sale this Friday, November 10th, at 10am PT which would be 2pm here on the East Coast.

Over the weekend the group was part of The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies. They paid tribute to The Spinners.
