System Cleans Football Field of Ocean Garbage Every 5 Seconds

A new floating barrier called System 03 can clean up the area of a football field in just five seconds! The trash that's removed is sorted by crew members and recycled into new products. The company's mission is to clean up 90% of the plastic in the oceans by 2040.
This week we had our largest ever extraction from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch: 11,353 kg of plastic out of the ocean for good.
