Using Electric Water Heaters To Store Energy?

Researchers from the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures has found electric water heaters could store as much energy as 2 million home batteries in Australia alone! This could save billions on energy bills and utilize things we already have in our home, as well as cutting down on the need for more batteries.
