Update 12:11pm: The National Weather Service has issued a time loop of when storms are expected in the Capital Region, with the most likely potential happening this evening.

A day after damaging winds and possible tornadoes ripped through parts of the Capital Region, the area prepares to get hit again. Tuesday's storm caused widespread damage in Central New York and the North Country. Governor Hochul has already declared a state of emergency for the entire state of New York.

The National Weather Service says more thunderstorms and damaging winds are likely heading for the area Wednesday afternoon and evening. The potential for storms exists between 1pm and 7pm. In addition to severe weather, much of the Capital Region remains under a head advisory, with real feel temperatures in the upper 90s.
