If you’ve ever driven down Route 7 (Troy-Schenectady Road) in Latham, you’ve noticed the vast open space that is the Albany International Airport. On the northwest tip of the property sits a historic 1700’s farmhouse where The Tailored Tea cafe and teahouse sits.
In a Facebook post Saturday, the owners said recent health problems have led them to the decision to put the cafe up for sale. They will entertain any reasonable offer and will also pass along all recipes. as they want to see The Tailored Tea continue to operate.
The restaurant is currently open weekdays from 9am to 5pm, closed Tuesdays. As the post states, business is already lined up for the rest of the year with private parties already booked. Interested potential owners should reach out asap since they’re looking to sell immediately.
