On Sunday, we learned that Kendrick Lamar will headline this years Super Bowl Halftime show in New Orleans.

While there are a number of people that are fully on board with the choice, there are also plenty of people that completely disagree with the choice! I'm not just talking about fans, there are a number of artists that have spoken up with their displeasure with the Kendrick choice.

From Nicki Minaj, to Master P, Boozie Badazz, just to name a few, have come out against the choice. All feel that Lil Wayne, who's actually from New Orleans, should be the one who takes the stage in front of the World at The Super Bowl. And if we're being real here, they have a great argument! 

What Lil Wayne has done for hip hop and for the city of New Orleans goes without saying. The man is a legend and in some circles, considered the greatest to ever do it! Without question the man deserves to be on that stage, in his city, doing what he does best!

With that said, there are also people backing the decision to have K-Dot perform this year! 

Jay-Z gave his reasoning for choosing Kendrick - 

“Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer,

“His deep love for Hip-Hop and culture informs his artistic vision. He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally. Kendrick’s work transcends music, and his impact will be felt for years to come.”

Fabolous seems to be backing the decision as well. Also saying that this is not on solely on Jay-Z

While the decision has been made and announced, IF the parties involved want to make this all good, they need to make Wayne a part of this show. In some way, Lil Wayne needs to be a part of this performance. I don't know what that involves or how it would work but it needs to be done!
