Eminem did an interview with DJ Whoo Kid recently and did say that "he's working on a lil something" when it comes to new music. He also added that his life was paused for a little bit due to the Detroit Lions playoff run.

When Whoo Kid got to the rumor of a joint album coming from Em and Fifty, Slim didn't exactly confirm that it was something that was being worked on. Matter of fact, he seemed to be completely surprised by the rumor.

Em's answer started with

"Where did that come from" and then continued with "I don't know whose idea that was, but that's crazy," he said. "I'm trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. Fif is on a roll right now, he's been on a roll since the [Final Lap] tour."

Now, I don't know how that rumor got started and I don't know who was thinking that this joint album was in the works but judging by the response that Em gave, I'd say that it's not a thing. Or Marshall is playing it off as to not give anything away. Guess we'll have to see.
