The Siena Men's Basketball team was out and about in the community yesterday visiting a few of our local schools. The team stopped by Oneida and Central Park Middle Schools in Schenectady and then made their way to Latham Ridge Elementary School in Latham.

The purpose of these visits? It's all a part of Siena's Adopt-a-School program. The Saints visited with the students and organized some drills and games. The idea behind it all is to help teach the younger kids about hard work and dedication.

I think it's pretty awesome that the team does stuff like this. It gives these kids a chance to chat with D1 athletes, ask them questions and find out what it takes to get to a similar position when they get older.
