This past weekend was the 10th Annual Wing Walk in Schenectady. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend and try all the different wings but there were 20 locations all over Downtown Schenectady that participated in this years Wing Walk. They all put out their best wings for "walkers" to try and vote on. Like any other competition, only 1 could take home that top prize. 2,200 people tried the wings and voted and we now have the Top 3

First place went to Ya Ya's House Southern Cuisine - Smokey Honey Cajun Wings

2nd place was The Nest - Cherry Pepper Carolina BBQ Ranch Wings

And 3rd place was awarded to Simone's Kitchen - Fire Roasted Wing w/Zesty Zhug Lemon Labne

Some of the other awards that were given out from this past weekend are - 

• Judges’ Top Wing: The Nest – Cherry Pepper Carolina BBQ Ranch Wing
• Best Sauce or Rub: Hunter’s on Jay – Chipol-Tang Dry Rub Wing
• Most Creative: Simone’s Kitchen – Fire Roasted Wing with Zesty Zhug and Lemon Labne
• Most True to Flavor: Katie O’Byrne’s – Smoked Guinness Glazed Wing
• Best Bite: Ya Ya’s House Southern Cuisine – Smokey Honey Cajun Wing

Now that I've seen some of these names and where to get these wings, it looks like I have some stops to make in Schenectady. I love me some chicken wings and now I know where some of the best ones are in the area!
