They'll continue until the end of October.
Disappointing news for fans of bread, baguettes, buns and baked goods in the Capital Region, the Bread Butler announced it will be closing its doors at the end of October.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, the bakery said:
We don’t want to dwell on why we are ending things, but there were many reasons, and we tried our best for a long time. If you work in the food industry, or own a food business, you would understand all of the challenges these days.
The Bread Butler, which offered fresh baked loaves of bread, croissants, and challah also operated as a sit-down cafe. The restaurant officially opened its doors on Central Avenue in 2020 and moved into the former Moe's location at Colonie Center in November of 2023.
Their last day will be October 31st.
