The 27th Annual Saratoga Chowderfest heated up downtown Saratoga Springs on Saturday, February 7, 2026, as nearly 20,000 chowder lovers poured into the city to slurp, stroll, and vote. With 88 vendors serving more than 66,300 four-ounce cups at just $2 each, the People’s Choice competition—based on sheer number of cups sold—proved to be the ultimate test of crowd-pleasing flavor. From bold Cajun spices to comforting Irish classics, winners emerged across multiple sales tiers, showcasing the diversity and creativity that has made Chowderfest a winter staple.


People’s Choice Winners (by bowls sold):

  • 500 bowls or less: Artisanal Brew Works — Chorizo Roasted Corn and Poblano Pepper Chowder

  • 501–750 bowls: The Mill on Round Lake — Shell Yeah! Cajun Seafood Chowda

  • 751–1,000 bowls: Whitman Brewing — Brunswick Chowder

  • 1,001–1,500 bowls: The Parting Glass — Luck of the Irish Chowder

  • 1,501–2,000 bowls: Rhea — New Orleans-Inspired Cajun Shrimp Chowder

  • 2,001–3,000 bowls: Wheatfields Restaurant — Hot Honey Chicken Corn Chowder

  • 3,001–4,000 bowls: Morrissey’s Lounge & Bistro — Irish Coastal Chowder

  • 4,001+ bowls: Druthers Brewing Company — Smoky Corn Chowder with Lobster, Shrimp and Crab, garnished with a bacon crumble
