The high heat will begin Monday as temperatures approach 90 degrees. Tuesday through Thursday is when record-breaking heat is expected to descend on the Capital Region and surrounding areas.
Brett Rathbun with the National Weather Service in Albany tells the Times Union:

The high temps combined with high humidity will likely make it feel 100 degrees or hotter.
