But now the secret's out
Growing up in Saratoga County my whole life, I had no idea this little oasis existed. Hidden away in the town of Charlton is Little Troy Park. A 20 acre recreation area with a playground, picnic tables, sandy beach and a swimming pond.
It's a members-only club, if you're interested in checking it out, they are holding open house weekends from 1pm-6pm for a limited time.
The beach has a dock, floating dock, slide and is supervised by a lifeguard. Currently, the beach is open on weekends, but will be open daily starting June 27th. Kids swimming lessons will also be offered for members this summer.
