Outhouse Races this weekend at the 62nd Annual Lake George Winter Carnival

As the third weekend of the 62^nd Annual Lake George Winter Carnival kicks off, locals are preparing for another weekend of fun and excitement during this month long tradition.  This weekend a fan favorite is set to take center stage with the Outhouse Races happening Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2p. Although the lack of cold weather have prevented the races from taking place on the lake, the backup location at Battleground Park is ready with a fresh coating of snow from this week.  Fans will cheer on Outhouse Racers as they compete for a whopping $2,000 in total prizes, with $1,000 for the top finishers each week.

The first two weekends were packed with a variety of activities for all ages and this weekend is no different. From Snowman building competitions and horse-drawn carriage rides to a Chowder cook-off and a polar plunge, there’s something for everyone.
