Possible Earthquake Shakes the Capital Region, Northeast

Tremors were reported in many areas

Update 11:48am: Governor Hochul holds a press conference to discuss the earthquake 

Update 11:09am: We're getting reports that the tremors were felt as far north as Queensbury and Gloversville

Update 10:59am: Governor Hochul says the earthquake was felt throughout New York State

 

Update 10:48am: The US Geological Survey confirms a 4.8 Magnitude struck in the New Jersey town of Lebanon. 

If you just felt your house or building shake, you're not alone. Sometime between 10 and 10:30, there were a number of reports from around the area, as well as parts of New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut.
