Warehouse BBQ on Wolf Road in Colonie has closed it's doors permanently. The restaurant was open for 7 years. 

If you think back to not that long ago, the business was put up for sale however no buyer stepped up to take the place over.

Owner Mitch Ware sited a few reasons for reaching the difficult decision of closing. One of which is that he felt that it was time to retire. He's been in the restaurant business for 40 years and he said "I'm just tired".

Ware said staffing difficulties along with inflation and other challenges that followed the pandemic made keeping Warehouse Grill & BBQ open difficult. Over the past year, the restaurant has closed for short periods due to staffing and other issues.

Ware also owns MezzaNotte Ristorante in Guilderland remains open. His wife Connie, who is not retiring, will "continue to operate it as always"
