On this day back in 2016, the hip hop community was rocked with the passing of Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest. Phife was only 45 years old.
If you're a fan of "old school" rap then you are well aware of Phife and his impact on the music and culture! From being a founding member of Tribe to features on other artists songs, Phife was a giant on the MIC.
With today being the anniversary of his passing, I thought we should take a look back at his contribution to the music that we all love!
