The tables are still set!
We lost many of our favorite eateries during Covid, one of those was the famous Golden Corral on Central Avenue in Colonie. If you were infinitely hungry, this was the place to go. And you couldn't leave without heading to that chocolate fountain more than once.
What's amazing is, this video was taken in 2023, three years after the restaurant closed. The inside looks untouched. Salt, pepper, ketchup and utensils sit on the tables as if expecting hungry customers to head to the buffet.
According to their Facebook page, this franchise was planning to reopen in 2021, but it never happened.
Urban explorer Ben's abandoned place and stuff on YouTube gives us a look inside at what looks like a restaurant frozen in time.
