His house was not his home.
Kenneth Radley is headed to prison after admitting he broke into an Albany apartment last summer and settled in like it was his own Airbnb — minus the reservation.
The break-in happened last August on Lake Avenue, where Radley not only helped himself to the resident’s fridge but also took a relaxing bath and changed into his clothes. When the actual tenant returned home around 5 p.m., he found Radley dressed in his black tank top, gray sweatpants, and white Adidas sneakers.
Radley claimed the place was his, even attempting to push the rightful resident out. A fight followed, but the tenant managed to hold Radley down until police arrived.
Turns out this wasn’t Radley’s only stop that day — he’d also reportedly tried another apartment in the building.
He pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and will be sentenced in July. He faces 7 to 9 years behind bars.
