The fire is up on a mountain and has been burning since Sunday morning
A large brush fire has crews from 3 different states working to control it. According to NewsChannel 13, firefighters got the call around 11:30am Sunday for a fire in Berlin, Rensselaer County - on the border with Massachusetts.
Fire crews say the blaze is up on a mountain and difficult to get to. Meanwhile the area has seen a stretch of dry weather, which has allowed it to spread to about 45 acres as of Monday afternoon.
Any danger to the public is said to be minimal since it's deep in the woods, however firefighters from nearly a dozen different agencies are working on getting it contained.
