The pool has been fully renovated since the college's closure.
Albany County swimmers will soon have access to the renovated pool at the former College of Saint Rose campus, with a phased reopening starting on January 12. The pool underwent rehabilitation after the college's closure and bankruptcy, and registration is required for swimming lessons, lap swims, and Aqua Zumba. County Executive Dan McCoy emphasized the pool's importance as a symbol of community renewal and a safe space for families and neighbors to stay active. The schedule for the phased reopening and lesson times can be found online through RecDesk.
