I thought for sure Hershey's, Snickers or Kit Kat would be at the top of the list, but they didn't even make the top 3. So what do New Yorkers enjoy getting in their trick or treat bag the most?
According to candystore.com, here are the top 3:
#3: Candy Corn
Some love it, some hate it - but in New York, it's a pretty sure bet. Approximately 82,152 pounds will be consumed this year
#2: Hot Tamales

Looking at nationwide averages, the rest of the country appears to have a different kind of sweet tooth with M&M's and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups taking the stop two spots overall.
