It happened early Thursday morning

Rescuers were on the scene of a pond off Riverview Road in Clifton Park on Thursday. The Vischer Ferry Fire Department got the call around 2:30am that a car had gone off the road. When they arrived, a red Chevy was in the pond - which was still partially frozen.

According to a Facebook post by the fire department, everyone was able to get out and there were no injuries.

The car had to be lifted from the pond using a tow crane.
