Here's a blast from the past
If you're too young to remember, Caldor was a discount department store that was prominent in the Northeast until, like many other retailers, it fell into financial trouble in the late 1990's and eventually closed all stores.
There were quite a few stores throughout the Capital Region, including Clifton Park and Latham. The photos and video below come to us from approximately 1997, just around the time stores began closing. This particular location was at the Aviation Mall in Queensbury.
